I have noticed on our own resort in Kissimmee that the number of foreclosures has risen sharply in the past few months alone with the main problems appearing to be the increases in utility costs combined with the downturn in rentals for many people. Fortunately we have been doing really well with rentals so the effect has not hit us as yet but we are one of the few. It seems as though there is help available for owners struggling to keep up with mortgage payments and bills but it may only be delaying the inevitable in Florida.
