Ideas are the main part of an agency and what keeps it fresh with creativity. Ideas have to be treated like a fragile flower, well taken care of and sold even better. You cant expect your client to fully pick up the importance of you idea and appreciate it as much as you do. If you want to get your client to appreciate your ideas as much possible then all of those amazing ideas should be well presented in person thorough, well prepared presentation where your client can see all of their options clearly. The Creative Team which consists of a copy writer and an art director led by a creative director, starts to develop ideas for the client. Plan your presentation with detail and persuasion. Remember, you want you client to love this idea as much as you do and if you’re not fully into it they wont be either. Consider who is a better speaker to pitch the idea perfectly. also think about how the ideas should be presented, maybe in a humorous way or maybe its a more serious matter. Try to get someone to check the room the presentation is going to be in and check if there is a TV to connect a computer for the power point and of it is all working properly, or maybe check if you have everything in place for you client to just walk into a ready presentation. Try to avoid boring bullets and too much writing. Put the main points on the bullets and explain the rest yourself, it makes you look more prepared and secure of what you are trying to sell. Pitching your ideas can be difficult from time to time but following these easy tips will make it a breeze… GOOD LUCK!
